WORK has started on the construction of a new road between Aldersgate Street and Moorgate, forming the first section of the projected Route 11 in the City of London.
About 600 yards long, the new road will have an underground car park the whole width of its carriageways, extending two-thirds of its length. The scheme will cost £1,320,000.
