CONCERNED at the amount of pilferage from parked lorries, Liverpool Corporation are considering the provision of fenced lorry parks with night watchmen in three areas of the city. They have postponed any definite action pending an inquiry to see what other authorities are doing.
The council also want to know to what extent operators would use the parks. It has been estimated that if the three plots were used to 40 per cent. capacity, they would just pay for their upkeep.
