• If your motor insurance is not on a fleet declaration basis your insurers must be immediately advised of any proposed changes to your vehicle schedule involving an addition or substitution • The Fourth European Motor Insurance Directive requires policyholders to provide the Motor Insurance Database (MlD) with details of all vehicles in their care and to notify the MID of any changes or additions immediately • Even though your cover may be on a fleet-dectwation basis, it is important to make sure your insurance company holds up-to-date vehicle details if they are notifying the MID of vehicle changes on your behalf
