• A ceremony at Longbridge on Monday marked the completion of the replacement of AA motorcycle combinations by fourwheeled vehicles. At a special parade before Mr. Lester Suffield (deputizing for BMC chairman Sir George Harriman) and Mr. Alec Dune, AA director general, the last of the replacement batch of BMC Mini vans was handed over.
