• Renewing Swansea-based Greatone's licence for only two years, South Wales Traffic Commissioner John Mervyn Pugh has increased the authorisation on the licence from nine to 10 vehicles.
The company has had its licence renewed for a short period because of maintenance problems.
Director Robert Steins said the only incident since the last public inquiry in November had been an accident when one of the company's vehicles loaded with tarmac damaged a car on a steep hill. The company was fined £40 in the resultant court case.
For Greatone, Ivor Price said a maintenance investigation in December found the company's facilities and inspection records satisfactory. The only criticism
