• The East Midlands Traffic Commissioners at Lincoln agreed to the application by the Lincolnshire Road Car Co. Ltd. to increase fares from January 5.
The present minimum single fare of 3d will be replaced by a 4d minimum. Some single fares 3d to 7d will go up by id; those between 8d and 2s will be increased by up to 2d and fares over 2s by as much as 3d. New rates do not affect the scale of return fares, weekly tickets or scholars' fares.
