Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WEBBING REPLACEMENT • A strap reconditioning and webbing replacement service, which can save users more than 50% of the price of replacements, is now available from Apex Load Control Co Ltd of Croydon, Surrey.

According to Apex, experience has shown that the tensioner and end fittings have a longer service life than the polyester-based webbing. By renewing the webbing, reconditioning and replacing the fittings, Apex can give the straps a second life for less than half the price of new straps.'

A major advantage of rewebbing to the transport operator is that the cost can come out of the maintenance budget, rather than add to capital expenditure, helping the transport manager solve his daily problems without going over budget.

Apex can be contacted by phoning 01-684 7969.
