• Citroen has announced a variant of the Dispatch van with a nominal payload of 900kg-100kg more than current models. The Dispatch 900 TD has a GVW of 2,335kg and costs £12,010 (ex-VAT) A corresponding chassis-platform version has a nominal body/payload allowance of 1,075kg and will cost £10,880 (ex-VAT). Both models are available only as turbo-diesels. Citroen has also revealed that a six-seater Combi version of the Dispatch TD will be available within a Few months.
Meanwhile, Peugeot has started deliveries of the 900kg version of its Expert van, costing £11,830 (ex-VAT), and also has plans for a six-seater Combi version to complement the present five-seater.
Fiat has confirmed that it is upgrading its 815kg model to 900k9 at no extra cost. It also has plans for a passenger version.
