The Freight Transport Association has unanimously elected Stuart Phillips to continue as president for a third year. Tony Stanton takes over as honorary treasurer on the retirement of Robert Donald. Martin Pearce, director of ECC International (Sales) becomes the other vice chairman. John Steele, ex-director general of transport for the European. Commission, has been appointed special adviser in Brussels.
