FOLLOWING THE demise last month of rival fire appliance builder Saxon,Dennis Fire is receiving more investment from parent Alexander Dennis, now freed from the failed TransB us group.
This investment has paid for the full-size Sabre and the compact Dagger appliances which are now available with the new 6.7-litre version of the Cummins ISBe, rated at up to 300hp.The 1SBe will be Dennis Fire's power unit for Euro-4 and 5 applications Dagger options will include the Sabre's Allison MD3060 transmission with higher potential pump outputs.
