AN INQUIRY INTO the death of a Scottish truck driver was started in Peterhead last week, but has been adjourned until 16 December.
Kevin Davidson was found lying next to his truck at ASCO's South Base industrial yard at Peterhead on 22 February 2007. The 32-yearold was removing straps from a load of buoyancy devices when one of them fell on him.
Last week, the inquiry into the death, which is being held at Peterhead Sheriff Court, heard from other workers at the yard, police and other truck drivers.
Davidson had worked in the haulage business for 13 years and is survived by a wife and two daughters.
Under Scottish law, fatal accident inquiries are held to find out as much about fatal accidents as possible.
