The Munich manufacturer's new middleweight line-up has kept faith with its 'Add Nothing' emissions approach by retaining EGR four-pot and six-pot engines for Euro-5 and EEV chassis, which is no mean feat. The latest diesels sit beneath a facelifted cab, with revised aerodynamics and styling on the outside and trim and equipment changes inside that have filtered down from 'big brother' TGX/TGS models, including new seat materials, a multi-function steering wheel and a better bunk, too. The question for the IToY judges is will these relatively modest changes secure enough votes to take the title? Of course, you should never write-off the Germans, especially since the current IToY is a Mercedes-Benz.
