Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

According to Paul Morel, Ford is going to be placing a far greater emphasis on providing contracting and leasing agreements on its vans. He can easily see the day when no operators own any of their vehicles.

Morel pledges an improvement in service quality, which is more important for CVs than private vehicles. He says more sites in the UK will be offering the right level of service.

Recently Transit sales have dropped. Not surprisingly Morel wants to see this trend reversed, with the Transit pushing back up towards 40% of the market. A major part of this recovery drive will involve niche markets, including more conversions and specialist vehicles (some with tieins with companies like Terberg) and shorter lead times.

The home delivery sector is an obvious and lucrative channel for Ford to exploit here, so expect to see more temperature-controlled Transits if the plan comes off
