LISBON ORDER A.E.C. AGAIN: Already operating over 350 A.E.C. singleand doubledecker buses, Lisbon Electric Tramways have ordered 12 more A.E.C. Regent Mk. V double-deck bus chassis.
WALLASEY ORDER ALBION: Wallasey Corporation has ordered four Albion Nimbus Ughtweight single-decker bus chassis with 3I-seat bodies by Strachans " Successors, Ltd. They will be used for private hire and stage carriage work— some being designed for one-man operation.
FOR FUEL IN BULK : Another 12 Leyland Octopus tanker chassis have been ordered by Charrington, Gardner, Locket (London): Ltd., for the transport of domestic and industrial fuel oils.
CLAY MORES ORDERED: Five niore Albion Claymore 5-ton chassis have been ordered by Preston and District Farmers' Trading Society, Ltd., which at Present operates nearly 100 Albions. MORE FOR MONTEVIDEO: Another 30 Leyland-M.C.W. Olympic integral singledecker buses have been ordered by C.U.T.C.S.A., a private enterprise co
operative in Montevideo, Uruguay. The order is worth £200,000.
BAR TON TO HAVE MORE REGENTS: Barton Transport of Chilwell, Notts, have ordered six more A.E.C. Regent Mk, V double-decker bus chassis.
ARTICS AND RIGIDS Pattullo Higgs and Co., Ltd., agricultural merchants, of Bromley, Kent, have ordered five Leyland Comet tractive units and four Leyland Comet haulage chassis.
ORDER INCREASED: West • Pakistan Road Transport Board has increased its recent order fOr 26 Leyland double-decker buses to 43. The new order is worth £50,000 and is for 30-ft.-long Titan PD3.6 models powered by 0.600 diesel engines. Bodies will be fitted in Pakistan.
