• Krone will launch its "Liner" range of semitrailers at next month's Hanover show. The line-up includes a reefer, a coil carrier, a container chassis and the Maxi Liner—a semi-trailer which combines a volume of 934m3 with a kerbweight of 6.2 tonnes.
• LDV is offering an extra year's warranty on all Pilot and Convoy models bought before the end of September. They come with a three-year/100,000-mile warranty, improved security and the option of a threeyear/60,000-mile inclusive servicing deal.
• Last week CM carried a story about converting tractors to three axles in which we mentioned a company called Chassis Developments. The number for that company should have read 01525 374151 and not 01922 410880, which is the number for Chassis Development Services.
• The AA has added 20 Renault Messenger 6.5-tanners to its recovery fleet. The trucks have factory-fitted five-passenger crewcabs, air suspension and UK-supplied slideback bodies.
• Reliance of Brighouse, West Yorkshire has acquired an Isuzu franchise. It will sell Isuzu commercial vehicles from 3.5-7.5 tonnes alongside its current ERF range.
