• Bath-based Paul Rodgers and Joe Smith, trading as Abracadabra Waste Disposal, have 14 days to comment on proposals by Western Traffic Commissioner Christopher Heaps to revoke their licence on financial grounds after they failed to attend a Bristol public inquiry. The TC said he was not satisfied by figures produced by the partners. The firm did not have an overdraft facility and the balance in a building society was .E2.03 in February Smith had wifitten in June, indicating they did not propose to attend the public inquiry but saying they wished to retain a licence for one vehicle.
