Near the front door of the Markfield office is one of those dispensers you see in offices all around the country. But instead of the usual selection of crisps, chocolates and drinks on display, there is safety equipment for drivers and machine operators.
It dispenses high-vis jackets, gloves, eye-protectors, and ear protectors, which workers can take when they need them by entering a special code. Bishop says: "The vending machine is fully stocked at all times and means our staff have the best safety equipment available to them at all times."
