.I'WO ROAD rfRANSPORT unions have backed calls by both of the industry's leading trade associations to force foreign operators to provide detailed information to the UK enforcement authorities.
The Transport and General Workers Union (T&G) and the United Road Transport Union ( U RTU) say they are also concerned about foreign drivers flouting UK laws and are in favour of the initiative.
RHA chairman Roger King believes the support from the unions will strengthen the case that is being made to government: "We have a good relationship with the unions. They share our desire for a highly professional industry.
