LEADING REFUSE TRUCK manufacturer Dennis Eagle is switching engine suppliers from Cummins to Volvo to meet the Euro-4 emissions standard.
Dennis Eagle will be offering customers three variants of Volvo's latest D7E 7-litre straight-six turbo-diesel rated at 240, 290 and 320hp. The D7E powers the Renault Midl urn and Premium Distribution. as well as the new Volvo FLIFE.
The SCR-equipped engine was developed as a joint venture between Volvo and Cierman engine builder Deutz.
