1-1 A PROPOSAL by Warrington Subarea of the Road Haulage
Association for " drastic action' against the Transport Bill, is not being acted upon by the North-Western (Western) Area Committee. The subarea asked the area committee to place the following resolution before the National Council:—" That hauliers take drastic action and withdraw their vehicles from service until the Government promise that the Transport Bill will be withdrawn, and, as an alternative, grant a public inquiry into the transport position."
The area committee decided, on May 28, to let the matter lie on the tablc,
