international chairman of the International Cargo Handling Coordination Association (ICHCA). Richard Earl has been elected chairman of the transport and distribution specialists group of the Institute of Practitioners in Work Study, Organisation and Methods. Mr Earl, the group's former deputy chairman. is marketing manager for Eastern British Road Services. He is succeeded as deputy chairman by Philip Satchwell. Bob Bayley, distribution development manager, T. Wall & Sons (Ice Cream), and John Sussams, senior consultant with MLH Consultants, continue as secretary and treasurer respectively.
George Bartup, a director of Trevor Williams (Removers), of Hereford, has succeeded Len Cox as national chairman of the Institute of Furniture, Warehousing and Removal Industry (1FWRI).
