Two new electric winches have been introduced by Ryders Autoservice. Both the standard 8074 and the de luxe 8274 winches incorporate two-way reversible motors for operation from existing vehicle, 12Volt battery systems. A horizontal pull of 3i tons with one line, or 7 tons with two, is possible. Forward and reverse winching is accomplished by means of a hand-grip remote control switch on a 3.6m(121t) wander lead plugged into the winch solenoid control box.
The 8274 has the addition of a positive push in/pull out clutch for free spooling of the wire rope where supplied. Available from : Ryders kutoservice (GB) Ltd, 115/217 Knowsley Road, Bootle, Liverpool, L20 4NW.
