A lift-table with a swing lip— the Van Loader—has been developed by G. Hunter (London) Ltd. A pallet truck is moved on to the lift-table, which is flush with the floor. A press-button control raises the platform to the vehicle bed height and lowers the swing lip to rest on the bed.
The Van Loader is available in 2 or 3-ton capacities and platform sizes of I.8m x 2.5m (5ft 10in x 8ft 2in) or 1.8m x 3m (5ft 10in x 91t 9in).
Lift heights are up to 2m (6ft 6in).
The table is designed to remain in position in the event of a power failure and an automatic stop trip bar is fitted to the underside of the platform. Made by: G. Hunter (London) Ltd, Gumley Road, Grays, Essex.
