• Bristol-based parcels delivery company Interlink is forecasting a pre-tax profit of £4.5 million for the financial year, ending on 30 June.
Managing director Richard Gabriel says the number of parcels delivered by Interlink has grown while the traditional seasonal drop in parcel movement did not happen this spring, helping the company to double its pre-tax profit for the second consecutive year.
"We have continued to invest in hi-tech equipment to the tune of £3 million," says Gabriel, "and have been able to maintain the high standards of service our customers expect."
Last year Interlink was floated on the United Securities Market (USM) when the value of the company rose to nearly £30 million, with share prices up from 185p to 378p.
