• Bodybuilder Marshall of Cambridge has been supplying bodies to Whitbread for 40 years. The latest batch comprises 42 drop-frame delivery vehicles.
The Cargo 1615 rigjds were converted by Chassis Developments of Leighton Buzzard to provide a 4.29mlong drop-well within a 5.81m wheelbase. Marshall's curtain-sider bodies are made of light alloy with a non-slip phenolic resinbonded plywood floor. They provide a step-height of 600mm (unladen) and fully equipped with gas bottle racking weigh 6,460kg unladen.
Curtains are from Plastic Protection in six brewery liveries from within the Whitbread group.
