la he United Road Transport Union reports the tale of a driver who lost his way making a delivery in London. Spotting a policeman he pulled up and crossed the road to ask directions. Helpfully the policeman told him the way. Then, just as the driver was about to recross the road to his cab the copper politely booked him for parking in a restricted zone. The Hawk draws a veil over what the driver said next, but we can assume it was not "aren't our bobbies wonderful?"
