• Northern Irish chilled and frozen food distribution specialist Pleroma has bought 25 dual-temperature reefer trailers from Schmitz Cargobull (UK). They all have the slimmer (45mm) Ferroplast sidewalls for extra interior space with Schmitz positive-sealing moveable bulkheads and Thermo King's slimline SMX fridge units. Schmitz also fitted 18 ISO pallet racks and spare-wheel carriers. The new vehicles will enable Pleroma to operate round trips between Ireland and the GB mainland, linking suppliers, processors and cold stores with retail customers.
