ALL 96 vehicle trades apprentices trained at Livingston Motec have been successful in obtaining the City and Guilds of London Institute's certificate in motor vehicle craft studies, 24 per cent with distinctions and 71 per cent with credits.
Training has been given at the West Lothian College of Further Education as well as at the Road Transport Industry Training Board Motec. To date, 142 apprentices have attended and all have gained certificates, 28 with distinctions and 109 with credits. At the High Ercall Motec, 68 apprentices have attended the auto electrics course and only one has failed to gain a City and Guilds certificate.
