• H&H Distribution has switched allegiance from Volvo to MAN tractors as it believes they offer better reliability and economy.
The company has just bought four F2000 18.403FLTs with full aerodynamic kits as additions to its 47-strong fleet.
Director Peter Hodgson says: We were always convinced that our previous make of truck was the best around. However, having seen MANs on demonstration and listening to other MAN operators, it was apparent that the MAN F2000 was strong in terms of reliability, and that's what we need" Parcelforce has ordered 15 F2000 18.343FLTs as fleet replacements for its Peterborough and Bristol depots. The order followed an evaluation programme in which MAN performed well— Parcelforce was also impressed with MAN's back-up service.
