• Teeside County Borough Council has bought five trolleybuses from Reading Corporation for use on the Eston-South Bank, and Grangetown-Normanby routes which were covered by the former Teesside Rai!less Traction Board. Motor buses are also to be used on the routes to supplement the services where necessary.
