THE Government is not attracted by the idea of introducing more mandatory rules to combat motorway madness in the fog.
Eldon Griffiths (Bury St Edmunds) asked for a review of the present situation in the Commons last week, but got no response from John Horam, Under Secretary of State for Transport.
The use of headlights in poor daytime visibility was already mandatory, he pointed out.
