• The fourth Scottish Transport Group company has been put up for sale. Edinburghbased Eastern Scottish Omnibuses is a major operator of local bus services in the Lothian region, with a fleet of 391 buses and coaches operating from five depots across the region. The company employs more than 1,000 staff.
Buyers have yet to be named for two other Scottish bus companies up for sale: Midland Scottish and Scottish Citylink. El Lowland Scottish is set for a management buyout See Headline News.
