Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

QI am thinking of starting my own business with my own vehicle. I am 18 years old and hold a car driver's licence. What would be the best vehicle to start with? I want to go into general haulage so could you tell me what I will need to run such a business. Could you also tell me what the CPC course is?

PS, Battersea.

ABy holding a car licence you can drive CVs up to 7.5 tonnes GVW. Of course, you must be 21 years old to apply for an HGV licence.

If you go above 3.5 tonnes GVW you will need a CPC for general haulage and you should enrol for a course either at your college or on a reputable CPC course advertised in this publication. You also need to make an application for an Operator's Licence and the form GV79 is self-explanatory.
