• Carol and Christopher Sayer, trading-as CT Transport, of Leyburn, whose licence was revoked by North Eastern Licensing Authority Frederick Whalley, have been given interim authority to operate.

• Harrogate driver Trevor Pearson, who falsified tachograph charts once after a relief driver turned up drunk and once when he failed to turn up, was given a one-year conditional discharge by the town's magistrates.
Numbers down
• Convictions for borrowing international licence identity discs to carry out three continental trips led to Derby-based Michael Taylor's licence being reduced from 10 vehicles to seven. He was granted a change from national to international licence.
Trial arranged
• Chadderton haulier Thomas Greenwood, trading as T Greenwood & Sons, has been committed for trial at Bolton Crown Court charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
