Action Water in Cornwall, a charity that specialises in refurbishing water tankers and water drilling rigs for use in community projects, mainly in Africa.
The charity has recently sent a tanker to Liberia in West Africa, donated by Kent Fire Brigade. The tanker will be used by the Catholic Church in the capital, Monrovia, to help schools, hospitals and clinics. The country has no water supply, so tankers are likely to be vital for some years. Action Water thanks Leyland Daf for supplying parts for the chassis.
