EXHIBITORS ARE ALREADY queuing up for stands at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2011 which runs at the Birmingham NEC from 12-14 April.
Among more than 100 exhibitors already signed up is Roadload, the Norfolk-based company, which will be showing off its new U-tail demountable van body that lowers to the ground for ease of loading and unloading.
The firm has worked closely with Peugeot in developing the body and had nearly 500 visitors to its stand at the CV Operator Show this year, when it was announcing the product for the first time. Sales and marketing manager Dennis Vaughan says that potential buyers are widespread. Removal operators can use it to unload a box at a customer's premises, leave it to be loaded and collect it later; hospitals can use it for transporting things such as beds more easily, simply wheeling them into a box as opposed to lifting them; and the police have expressed interest in using them for a variety of uses, including placing mobile offices at scenes of crime.
