PAULINE EDWARDS Transport is relocating to a new 25,000ft' warehouse to cope with a growing printing roll contract.
The Leicestershire-based haulier has signed a six-year lease for premises on the East Goscote Industrial Estate from 11 October. It will close its 15.000ft2 Queniborough site on 15 October.
-lhe warehouse is a real upgrade over the existing site. It's a lot taller and a newer build, which will allow us to use space more efficiently. In turn this should win us more customers," says MD Van essa Perry.
She tells CM that since winning a storage and distribution contract with a paper reel company 12 months ago, volumes have been steadily growing.
The firm, which inputs freight into the Palletline network, is also looking to recruit approximately four new employees.
