a demonstration bio-methane diesel truck that reduces CO2 output by 80% among the highlights. The company claims the FM model truck, powered by a 13-litre 460hp engine and capable of running on liquid methane as well as diesel, is up to 40% more efficient than a conventional diesel truck. Volvo will begin field testing with European customers later this year. As well as a variety of Volvo FH heavy trucks and other long-haul vehicles, the recently launched FMX tipper (pictured) was also on display.
