FRAIKIN, THE RENTAL and leasing company. has invested more than Lim in a new branch in Coventry (pictured), "The investment is a major enhancement to our network," Peter Backhouse, CEO of Fraildn, says. "It is Words: Kevin Swallow one of the most modern CV workshops in the Midlands. We selected Coventry as it is close to the new City Link hub, and, together with our branch in Oldbury, means we can provide comprehensive support to fleets in the region."
The new site takes over Fraikin's City Link contract, previously handled by the Wednesbury branch. The firm will merge its Tamworth branch (where the lease expires in December) into Coventry.
The facility, now the largest in the 13-strong network, has a 1,400m2 workshop, which is open 24/7, maintaining a fleet of more than 1,000 vehicles Fraikin has installed an inspection pit, four sets of vehicle lift ramps, a new roller brake tester and a comprehensive parts store, holding around £55,000 worth of all-makes stock. ti
