A SOUTH WALES haulage firm has won a six-year contract with a division of one of the world's largest companies.
Hicks Logistics of Caldicot, Monmouthshire will be hauling for GE Equipment Services' UK depots at least until March 2012.
The 45 Hicks Logistics trucks on the contract will run in GE Livery.
The £18m deal confirms Hicks as one of the leading privately owned plant-hire haulage specialists with a fleet of 75 beavertailequipped rigids and low-loaders.
MD Terry Hicks says:"Working with a company of GE's stature is of great benefit to the stability of our business and helps to attract other blue-chip customers."
Hicks will also be moving head office in the near future into larger purpose-built premises in the Caldicot area.
