John Beadle, chairman of the Insurance Fraud Bureau, has issued the following advice: 1. Keep a safe distance. 2. Stay calm. 3. Don't be aggressive. 4.1f you are involved in an accident, make a note of the damage, get a description of the driver and note the number of people involved. 5. Always carry a disposable camera so you can take pictures of the damage. 6. Look for independent witnesses (be careful not to accept anyone who puts themselves forward too eagerly as they could be involved in the scam).
7. It anyone is injured, call the police.
8. If you have any suspicions, call the police. 9. Call your insurer.
