• Bilsom International, mainly own for ear protection, has introduced two disposable respirators for filtering out welding fumes and dust.
The unit for welders, the 2293, is said to be small enough to fit under normal welding visors. It offers protection conforming to the latest European legislation EN149: FFP3(S), says the company.
The 2200 is a lower specification filter, to FFP1(S), is designed to protect those involved in grinding, stripping or in dusty conditions, says Bilsom.
