Change of focus for Rend rive Haulage
RENDRIVE Haulage is to focus on marketing to drive the family company forward after being mentored by Pall-Ex fourder Hilary Devey for a TV series.
The Belvedere, Kent-based haulier appeared on Channel Five's The Business Inspector on Wednesday 7 April, after spending several weeks with Devey in February.
Rendrive owner Harry Clapp says: "It was a beneficial experience and will hopefully be a good bit of free advertising for us. Another motive for
going on the show was to voice my dissatisfaction at the governments lack of help for our industry. Hilary was useful in giving us solid sales and marketing advice, and was very sympathetic about how much the haulage industry is suffering
right now."
Since filming, the company, which was set up by Clapp's grandfather and now operates 16 HGVs, has invested in the development of a new website and a brochure.
