Eagle-eyed CM readers spotted the thinly disguised April Fool's story in the 1 April issue. However, Big Lorry Blog half-fell for Volvo's joke. The blog's editor Brian Weatherley takes up the story...
You might be interested to learn that Volvo ha: [launched] its latest i-E (Intelligent Engine) OutpL band, whereby an engine's output can effectively be halved when a truck is in coasting (or in EcoRoll mode if it's got an I-Shift auto-box) when it naturally requires less power, but restores it to ful power when the truck needs it most.
