CUMBRIA-BASED RI Murray & Sons has made 10 of its drivers redundant after losing a contract.
The drivers lost their jobs at the company's Longtown base. But MD Stephen Murray says better news is likely to follow, with several deals in the pipeline.
The family-run general haulage and warehousing company currently runs a 20-strong fleet and employs 75 staff.
