STOKE-ON-TRENT car transporter Timmis Transport has been given authorisation to increase the number of vehicles it operates as long as it provides proof it has suficient funds in place.
In September the company, which operates out of GRS Logistics’ site in Stone, applied to boost its leet authorisation to eight trucks and eight trailers. The trafic commissioner (TC) has agreed only to six trucks and eight trailers and has attached an undertaking to the licence held by Antony Timmis.
The TC said: “The operator will provide the trafic commissioner with three months’ original bank statements and other inancial documents that show the licence holder has access to the appropriate funds for the size and type of licence. These documents are to be received at the ofice of the TC by no later than May 2012.”
