No action
• Scottish TC Michael Betts took no action against the licence held by Finn Construction, of Fort William, other than to issue the company with a formal warning about its future maintenance standards, when it appeared before him in Fort William.
Licence revoked
• The three-vehicle licence held by DJ Fairfield {Contractors), of Nuneaton, was revoked when the company failed to appear at a Birmingham disciplinary inquiry before West Midland DTC Alan Cattell.
Authorised cut
• The authorisation on the licence held by Stockton-onTees-based NN Argyle & Co was cut to four vehicles and four trailers when the company appeared at a Leeds disciplinary inquiry.
No manager
• The licence held by Cardiff haulier Julian Barnes was revoked when he failed to appear at a disciplinary inquiry before South Wales DTC Alan Cattell. The DTC said he understood that Barnes transport manager had left and had not been replaced.
