• The articles of amalgamation for a merger between the Scottish Commercial Motormen's Union and the Transport and General Workers' Union have now been agreed.
Details on some items, such as staff conditions, have still to be settled, but the union branches have now completed their discussions on the amalgamation.
The ballot of membership on the merger has been delayed by procedural matters, but should now take place in February or early March.
