5 hese two tractors have recently been purchased from New Holland by the HALO Trust to help with the dangerous job of land-mine clearance in Cambodia. The HALO Trust (Hazardous Areas Life-Support Organisation) was made known world-wide through the charitable work of the late Diana, Princess of Wales. The modifications to the tractors were made by Penman Engineering in Dumfries in Scotland, and they include 3mm steel armour plating for the body work and 7mm laminated glass. P&O's trans-European company PGN Logistics will be transporting the tractors from Scotland to Southampton, whence they will be shipped out to Cambodia. It's hard to think of a more worthwhile task.
