2 oak at all that smoke.. it must be a bit of a drag—literally, for this Leyland Daf truck is taking part in a quarter-mile drag race organised by the Maltese Drag Racing Association. This picture was sent in by Jason Barret of Mapperley Plains, Nottingham, who visited Malta earlier this year. While he was there, Jason saw this truck, which is owned by Sant Bros Commercials, break the local record of 14.1 5secs. Jason says those present were astonished by the performance as they could also hear the sound of a piston knocking in the engine.
